Top tips for choosing right type of

wig for you.

  • Measurement of your hairline is key to getting a wig that is the right size for you.
  • Know in your mind the length of wig you wish to wear.
  • You may wish to colour match the wig to suit you.
  • There several different types of hats/bases options to consider try on a few to see what suits your needs.
  • Wigs come in 2 main material types synthetic which is easier to maintain or human hair which is similar to what you have but needs more maintenance. 
DO's :
  • Always handle the wig gently
  • Only need to wash once per month with wig shampoo
  • when wet always let it air dry naturally
  • best practice to keep wig on a stand when not is use.
  • Brush gently once dry to prevent matting starting from the ends.

  • Don't twist or wring out wig
  • Don't brush wig when wet
  • Don't stand in direct heat source such as oven or live fire.
  • Don't use heat to dry wig
  • Don't leave wig in a bag or box as can cause friction and damage to the wig

Frequently Asked Question 

  • Will one wig fit all sizes?

    We would advise to start off with a average size wig and then make the adjustments using the elastic.

  • Can you change wig hair colour?

    Not if its synethic hair only human hair can be coloured. 

  • Will my wig blow off?

    Abousulty not as i have seen my clients drive off with there top down and the wig was firmly secure on her head. It will only come of when it needs to be pulled/taken off. 

  • How do I know my wig size?

    A measurment needs to be taken of the around the hairline. Average size is 21.5 inches.

  • Is human hair best or synthetic?

    Human hair takes a lot more looking after just like your own hair, Synthetic only needs fitting and more durable, washing 1 per month and can be easier to maintain.  E.g a person going through chemo may  prefer a synethic wig as it would be eaiser to manage (take on and off).
